Slate paving is a traditional material that effortlessly suits both modern and traditional designs.
Our slate paving slabs are ideal for indoor and outdoor living spaces; it can make a traditional or contemporary statement in kitchens, halls and bathrooms and externally it can have a striking impact in courtyards.
Due to its hardiness, slate is great in our typically rainy British weather. Slate paving is extremely resilient due to its porous characteristics, it prevents algae from forming. Therefore, slate paving is a natural stone with a lower need for maintenance.
Slate paving has a purely natural finish. It is taken from the ground and then split along the natural lines. Edges are cut by hand using a chisel or hammer.
