Description

Western Red Cedar is one of the most popular premium timber cladding choices available. Favoured for its durability and stunning colouration, cedar comes in a spectrum of colours ranging from dark browns to light yellows. Canadian cedar cladding carries fantastic durability, stability, and resistance to corrosion.

Battens and Fixings:

Battens should be installed at 450 – 600mm centres to fix your cladding to. These battens should be treated softwood and fixed perpendicular to the cladding. For example, vertical battens to horizontal cladding and horizontal battens to vertical cladding. It is important to consider ventilation and drainage behind your cladding.

We recommend that all cedar cladding is fixed using stainless steel fixings.
